主讲人介绍：Dr. Hong Ki An, Ph.D. supervisor, majored ｉｎ Transportation Engineering at Daejin University (Korea), New York University (USA), ａｎｄ the University of South Australia (Australia). He has research experience at the Korea Transport Institute, the nation’s leading transport research organization. Ｉｎ 2018, he taught a wide range of transportation engineering courses at Huaiyin Institute of Technology, ａｎｄ he is currently serving at Universiti Malaysia Perlis. At Universiti Malaysia Perlis, he lectures on transportation engineering ａｎｄ transportation planning while supervising master’s ａｎｄ doctoral students.
His main research areas include intersection optimization ａｎｄ the development of queue length prediction models using artificial intelligence algorithms. He has published internationally recognized research, including about 10 SCI-indexed papers, more than 20 SCOPUS ａｎｄ peer-reviewed journal articles, ａｎｄ one book published this year. Currently, four SCI papers are under review.
